Day 6: Xi'an

Full, full day. Today. We started at the south gate of Xi'an's wall. An impressive structure.Following that we visited the Wild Goose Pagoda, had lunch and headed out of town to the Terra Cotta Museum. There's no surprise that it's called the 8th wonder. We're still trying to wrap our mind around installing an 8,000 "man" army underground 2,200 years ago.
After the museum we returned to the city for a dumpling dinner and a quick walk through the local market ....
... and then off to the Tang Dynasty Show.
Whew!! We're beat. It's off to bed to rest up for tomorrow's tour of the Shaanxi Historical Museum and flight to Shanghai.

WOW you guys are definitely packing in as much as you can - looks like no time wasted on your trip.

The pictures are great - I get to live vicariously through them :)

Stay warm and stay safe - you aren't missing anything here - it's -40 and we won't be seeing any warmer weather for a loooong while.
