Started our day in Topeka with sunshine and a balmy 27° F, not any warmer, but a whole lot nicer, than the previous day in Watertown. I believe this is about as loaded as we've ever left home, 3 sets of tires plus our regular stuff in the Trailblazer.
We made our way through Kansas .....
Oklahoma ....
and into Texas.
Dallas roads and traffic were as interesting as ever ... especially at 4:30 pm.
We thoroughly enjoyed rolling down the windows, opening the sunroof and getting a bit of a sunburn in the 77° sunshine. 8-)
We found a room ... gotta love the coupon books at the visitor center .... unloaded Annie once again and got together with Millie for a wonderful dinner at the Blue Mesa.
