Day 18: More San Francisco

Today was drive around San Francisco day. We started at a local coin-op car wash that had less pressure than a typical garden hose in the 'peg. Once that was done we headed over to the section of Lombard that is billed as the crookedest road road in the USA (our tour driver yesterday insisted it was actually Wall Street in New York). I drove it a couple of times, once with Marion on board and the second time with her at the bottom to take some pictures.

After that we just cruised around town. We found the maze of power lines for the transit system quite overwhelming in some places.

Our tour eventually brought us to Twin Peaks and an amazing 360º panorama.

After that we took the long way back to the hotel. Here's 1 reason I'd hate to be here if it snowed.

Once we had the car back at the hotel we caught a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf for the 4D Happy Feet ride, a funnel cake and a water massage.

Tomorrow we head off to Fairfield and wine country for the weekend.
