Tuesday morning we opened the drapes to this great view. Made us oh so happy about paying for a "harbor view" room.
Much to our pleasure and surprise, by the time we came back from the lobby with our breakfast the fog had pretty much burned off. THIS was the view we were expecting.
We took the time to wander around the harbor and waterfront for a while, this seagull was not shy about having its picture taken.
We found one of mis-behavin's cousins in the harbor.
After our walk we hit the road towards Brookings. Intermittent mist and fog blocked the view at times but it also created beauty in its own way.

From Brookings we made our way south into California and then turned north-east up nice and twisty Hwy 199 through the redwoods and up to Grants Pass.
