Day 21: Fairfield

Today was a leisure day for us. We started with breakfast at "yellow M" prior to attending the 10:00 am service at the New Life Church Warehouse. We selected it because we thought it might have a "Riverwood" feel to it and it was pretty close.


After that we returned to the hotel to veg. I watched the nascar race and munched on mini M&M's and Marion did a load of laundry to keep us in fresh underwear for the duration of the trip. At one point we had an interesting vehicle in the parking lot outside our window. This is the best we could do for a picture as neither of us felt energetic enough to actually go outside for a better shot.


For dinner we headed over to the local Texas Roadhouse. The place was packed as usual and the meal (ribs for Marion, a filet for me) didn't disappoint.

Tomorrow we'll be back at it following Yahoo's Top Ten drive through the Sonoma and Napa Valleys and then on to the Monterey area via the coast highways.
